Mohan Luthra ( Manmohan Singh Luthra ) lives in London and has a had varied career as a senior Civil Servant as well as a senior academic and an author. In addition he kept up with his art education studying part time at a local art College and continued to produce works since he migrated to the UK as a young adult in the seventies.

Mohan was born in Amritsar India where he acquired his early art education from the artist Mrs Phulan Rani and was much influenced by artists such as Thakur Singh and Sobha Singh in addition to the Indian Cinema art. Invariably living in Europe meant that his work has been influenced by exposure to the western art whilst still retaining a strong eastern flavour. His work retains a kind of freedom unconstrained by a theme or a style or culture producing art work of what he finds exciting or if it is imbued by a certain mood ,meaning or a change or something that moves him. In so doing he uses techniques and style suited to the content or concept . Artists Ashok Patel and Keshav Rao
